Conditions of Entry

  • No food or beverages may be brought onto the premises, aside from birthday cakes.
  • Management reserves right to inspect bags on entry and exit, and to refuse entry or remove guests for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, failure to properly supervise persons under your care, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with any condition of entry
  • You acknowledge that there are risks in the participation of tenpin bowling. You should consider this when deciding on your participation and act in a responsible manner
  • General Public Melbourne takes all reasonable steps to provide you with a safe and enjoyable venue. However, General Public Melbourne is not liable for any injury that takes place on-premises
  • We suggest tenpin bowling is an activity for persons 5+ years
  • Adults/Carers are responsible for persons under their supervision
  • General Public Melbourne takes no responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, brought into or stored in our premises
  • Your image may be taken at any time for security purposes or for use in marketing materials


Party Terms and Conditions

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time so you can sort out your teams and grab your bowling shoes
  • We will pop you into teams of about 4-6 players per tenpin bowling lane
  • We require a $100 deposit upon booking and the final payment the week of your event. Our Events team will be in touch to finalize your event details and make the final payment


Refund Policy

  • Your order must contain your name, number, email address, credit card details and any other information required by our website. Confirmation of your order will be sent to you via email.
  • Bookings are transferable but not refundable. In order to transfer your booking, you need to contact our team 48 hours prior to the booking.


When is payment due for the event?

We require a $100 deposit upon booking and the final payment the week of your event. Our Events team will be in touch to finalise your event details and take final payment.

When do I need to confirm final number of guests attending?

We suggest you book based on your maximum number of guests. This will ensure that we have space for everyone!

Are there any limits to the drink package?

One drink per bar visit per person.
